Foris Dax Inc. defeated a proposed class action alleging it collected the information of visitors to its crypto.com cryptocurrency exchange and disclosed it to third parties in violation of California privacy laws.
The plaintiffs failed to allege concrete injury sufficient for standing to sue in federal court, Judge Edward M. Chen of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Tuesday.
Chen previously granted the company’s motion to dismiss all but one of the plaintiffs’ claims, but gave them leave to file an amended complaint.
