HMC Capital Limited has undergone one of the more ambitious transformations in Australia’s listed investment sector.
Originally known for acquiring and repurposing former Masters hardware properties, the business has developed into a diversified alternative asset manager spanning real estate, digital infrastructure, private credit, private equity and energy transition assets.
That expansion has taken assets under management from less than A$1 billion at the time of its 2019 ASX listing to approximately A$19.5 billion by the end of December 2025.
