CoinMarketCap has swallowed the last major independent piece of the crypto data landscape. The Binance-owned aggregator confirmed Thursday it completed the acquisition of CoinGlass, a derivatives analytics specialist, for an undisclosed price. The move hands a single corporate group control over the three foundational layers of market information: spot prices, on-chain activity, and now the leveraged trading data that increasingly drives risk across digital asset markets.
