BTC Markets announces Bowler’s replacement amid crypto rout

The crypto exchange has appointed a new CEO to succeed Caroline Bowler and a new CCO amid bitcoin’s slump to pre-Trump re-election lows.

BTC Markets has announced that Lucas Dobbins has been promoted to chief executive (CEO) and board director while Paul Stonham joins the company as chief commercial officer (CCO).  

Dobbins replaces former CEO and current non-executive director, Caroline Bowler. After leading the company since 2020, Bowler announced plans last year to step down in August 2025 but has since stayed on as interim CEO.
