British cryptocurrency owners have been warned they are at risk of attacks after hackers stole their home addresses.

Trezor, which sells hard drives designed to store cryptocurrency wallets, said details of about 14,000 customers were exposed in a data breach.

Stolen details include names, shipping addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.

Hardware wallets are seen as a secure and private way to store crypto investments, since they do not rely on online exchanges that could be vulnerable to cyber attacks.
