Bitcoin is closing in on the $80,000 milestone, sending South Korean cryptocurrency-related stocks broadly higher. Investor sentiment is rapidly recovering as expectations for Trump administration deregulation of digital assets converge with the U.S. Treasury Department’s bond buyback policy.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of 10:17 a.m. on the 25th, Bitplanet was trading at 2,380 won (approximately $1.7), up 15.81% (340 won) from the previous session. At the same time, Woori Technology Investment (12.44%), Parathesis Ethereum (5.51%), Bitmax (2.25%), and Galaxia MoneyTree (1.68%) also posted gains.
