Bhutan launches world’s first national crypto tourism payment system
Bhutan has partnered with Binance Pay and DK Bank to introduce the world’s first national-level crypto tourism payment system, redefining the travel experience in the Himalayan kingdom. This innovative initiative allows visitors with Binance accounts to pay for nearly every part of their Bhutan journey using cryptocurrencies, from airline tickets and visa fees to hotel stays, monument entry, and even local goods like handmade crafts or fresh fruit at roadside stalls.
