The Bitcoin price is currently around the $83K level and its continued volatility has institutions taking things to the “make it or break it” mode. BlackRock, the international conglomerate that once made news thanks to its Bitcoin ETF, has stepped into the Bitcoin buying phase again with its $25 million purchase.
This purchase was brought to light by Arkham Intelligence, which revealed that BlackRock’s spot ETF, IBIT, has bought BTC from Coinbase Prime. With this, the asset management giant now holds $47.47 billion worth of Bitcoin.
Furthermore, stablecoin issuer Tether has also bought $750 million worth of BTC and currently holds Bitcoin worth over $8.6 billion.
