Cryptocurrency trading exchange BitMEX announced on July 23 that it is soon shutting down and asked users to withdraw their funds.
Arthur Hayes, Ben Delo and Samuel Reed co-founded the exchange in 2014. Its derivatives offerings transformed the crypto trading ecosystem.

However, BitMEX’s owner and operator, HDR Global Trading Limited, has decided to close operations after 11 years following a strategic review of the business, the exchange said.
