According to a report from Yahoo Finance, the software sector has experienced significant declines on Wall Street in recent months. This trend accelerated last week following updates from artificial intelligence companies. Anthropic released an update to its Claude Cowork tool, which included plugins for legal, marketing, finance, data, and sales tasks. OpenAI subsequently made its own new release, followed by another from Anthropic.

The stock of ServiceNow has fallen more than 22 percent since January 29. As of Wednesday, Thomson Reuters stock is down over 26 percent. Intuit shares fell more than 26 percent, Snowflake lost 18 percent, and Salesforce dropped over 20 percent.
