Acting CFTC Chair Caroline Pham To Join Crypto Payments Firm MoonPay
Pham was sworn in as a CFTC commissioner in April 2022 and elevated to acting chair in January 2025.

Caroline Pham, the acting chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, will leave the agency to join crypto company MoonPay as chief legal and administrative officer, following the expected confirmation this week of her successor, Mike Selig, to lead the country’s primary derivatives regulator.
Selig previously worked at the white-shoe law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher and currently serves as chief counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Task Force and senior advisor to the chairman.
