TradingKey – After market close on August 21, Eastern Time, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) filed a document with the SEC, announcing the launch of an at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program of up to $600 million, with sales agents Raymond James and Needham eligible for commissions of up to 2% of total proceeds.
Affected by this, the stock price fell about 10% to around $112 during after-hours trading that day. Pre-market on Monday, August 24, the stock price dropped by more than 12% at one point.
