French financial authorities have called for a broad revision of European crypto regulation, with proposals affecting stablecoins, cross-border supervision and decentralised finance. Their joint response to the European Commission’s MiCA consultation seeks clearer legal boundaries and stronger safeguards without closing access to global digital-asset markets. For AML/CFT teams, the recommendations highlight emerging questions about accountability and risk management, although they do not themselves amend current obligations.
