CME Group began trading futures on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) on Oct. 19, with the first block trades in both contracts executed by institutional crypto firms FalconX and GSR, the Chicago-based exchange said.
The launch widens the menu of single-coin crypto futures listed on the regulated venue to 11, up from nine. CME already offers contracts tied to Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui. The five tokens added earlier in 2026 — Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui — have together seen notional open interest rise by close to $2 billion year to date, according to the exchange.
