—A cryptocurrency industry-backed political action committee is spending $362,000 to support Rep. Aisha Wahab’s bid for a full two-year term in Congress next month.

Protect Progress, a super PAC affiliated with Fairshake, which is backed by cryptocurrency giants Coinbase, Ripple Labs and venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, disclosed the expenditure over the weekend in a filing with the Federal Election Commission.

The filing explicitly identifies the spending as supporting Wahab, a Democrat, including $350,000 for a media buy and $12,000 for media production.
