The Cardano Card has an end date. The program’s official account on X said the card will be discontinued on 31 October 2026, adding that “your card will keep working as normal until then.” That leaves holders a little under three weeks of ordinary spending.

The reason lies with the card’s partner. Wirex, which issues the card, is moving to a non-custodial model and closing down its custodial infrastructure. “Because of that, our partnership with Wirex ends on 31 Oct 2026,” the post said.

No replacement card, new provider or other payment arrangement has been confirmed.
