Eight months after Crypto.com spent a reported $15 million on a Super Bowl commercial to promote its personal AI agent platform, the service remains unavailable to the public, with its reservation website still telling visitors that agent generation is “queued due to high demand.”
The ad, which aired during the fourth quarter of February’s championship game, promised an AI assistant capable of handling everything from executing trades to updating online dating profiles. Interest was immediate and overwhelming: the site crashed within minutes as users rushed to claim handles for their own agents. But the frenzy never translated into a product.
