Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) is partnering with domestic crypto infrastructure firm Bitpanda to phase in cryptocurrency trading services across Central and Eastern Europe. In a joint announcement on the 23rd (local time), the companies said the partnership could provide digital asset investment access to approximately 18 million customers across 11 European markets where RBI operates.

Bitpanda Enterprise, the company’s business-to-business infrastructure division, will supply the technology foundation needed for RBI network banks to adopt crypto services.
