Ethereum (ETH-USD) opened at $2,416.14 on Thursday, September 17, 2026, also up 0.7% from Wednesday’s opening price. The price of ethereum moved up this morning to $2,432.60 as of 7:23 a.m. ET.

Both bitcoin and ethereum opened higher than yesterday and are moving even higher in early trading this morning following a unanimous decision to raise rates for the first time in three years.
