ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Tonight, the Albuquerque City Council approved O-26-49, formally known as the “Virtual Currency Ordinance,” prohibiting the operation, hosting, and facilitation of Virtual Currency Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) and cashier-facilitated virtual currency transactions within City limits.
