The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) cryptocurrency market has expanded more than threefold in four years, with annual on-chain transaction volume reaching approximately $350 billion (roughly 468 trillion won). The Bitcoin Policy Institute reported that the region’s annual on-chain crypto transaction volume grew from about $100 billion in 2022 to approximately $350 billion in 2025–2026.
Growth trajectories diverge sharply by country.
