Hackers hit a Bits of Gold vendor and swept up 200,000 Israeli crypto customers

Bits of Gold, Israel’s largest regulated crypto broker, disclosed on August 16 that a hacker stole personal data on roughly 200,000 customers by breaching a third-party vendor, not the company itself. The incident is part of a global supply-chain hack believed to have hit hundreds of firms, and lands amid a summer of similar breaches at SafePal and Trezor’s shipping partner.
