Wes Streeting must be investigated over donations he received from a think tank linked to one of the world’s most notorious fraudsters, Reform UK has said.

Lee Anderson, the party’s chairman, has written to Daniel Greenberg, the parliamentary commissioner for standards, over £37,500 given to Mr Streeting in 2022 and 2023 by Labour for the Long Term (LLT).

Mr Anderson has asked Mr Greenberg to look into whether Mr Streeting, who is now the Defence Secretary, failed to comply with Commons registration rules over the money, after a Telegraph investigation revealed it was linked to Sam Bankman-Fried, the disgraced cryptocurrency billionaire.
