“After a careful evaluation of the company’s operating conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction, BitMart has made the difficult decision to commence an orderly wind-down of its trading platform operations,” the firm said in a post on X Sunday (July 26). “We deeply regret having to make this decision.”
BitMart said it would begin suspending new registrations, deposits and trading orders Sunday morning. Trading services will be discontinued Aug. 26, with the platform’s operations officially ending on Jan. 31 of next year.
