Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia, is preparing to activate a suite of crypto trading infrastructure by December 1, 2026, a move that positions the state-controlled lender at the forefront of the country’s regulated digital asset market. The plan includes launching a crypto wallet and a digital depository within its mainstream retail and investment platforms, contingent on the finalization of Russia’s long-awaited crypto legislation.
