Belarusians banned from owning EU crypto companies from August 25.
Starting August 25, citizens and residents of Belarus will be prohibited from owning, controlling, or managing EU-registered crypto service providers subject to MiCA regulations. The legal act came into effect on July 24, but the extended ban applies from August 25.
The restriction does not affect the ownership of crypto assets.
