Semiconductor ETFs were among the most popular thematic exposures in Australia in FY26, attracting around $290 million in net inflows over the financial year including a record $131 million in June alone, according to Global X.
The ETF provider’s Semiconductor ETF, SEMI, was the best-performing ETF over the six-month period with returns of 101 per cent, while the iShares MSCI South Korea Â
Capped Index ETF and Betashares Asia Technology Tigers ETF also performed strongly with 94.1 per cent and 58.9 per cent returns respectively.Â
