The latest version of a cryptocurrency bill Republicans are briefing President Donald Trump on this afternoon lacks Democratic buy-in, one of the lead negotiators for the party said Thursday.

“We’re not signed off on the version. I have not seen any Democrat actually signed off on the version,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), who has been taking point for Senate Democrats on certain aspects of the bill, told Bloomberg Government.

Gallego added that Democrats are “putting together something with some Republicans to potentially also send back,” without elaborating.
