Nigel Farage is taking a break from the scandal about his ties to crypto investors by headlining a rightwing festival backed by crypto investors. 

The Reform UK leader is the main draw to CPAC Great Britain, an event put on by the UK’s shortest lived prime minister Liz Truss.

The event, which kicks off today, is described by Truss as “a launchpad for the policies and leaders that will shape the future of the West”.

The crypto currency lobby group Bitcoin Collective is listed as a “strategic partner” of CPAC Great Britain, as reported by DeSmog. It will lead a discussion on “the alternative money revolution” during the three day conference. It is not known if the group has provided funding for the event.
