
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is introducing cryptocurrency as a valid means of purchasing tournament tickets.
With the 57th edition of the planet’s most prestigious tournament series now well and truly in the thick of the action, organizers revealed Tuesday a collaboration with blockchain platform Solana that will, from today, enable the direct purchase of tournament tickets at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas using crypto.
By the upcoming 2026 WSOP Paradise in The Bahamas in December, players will also be able to receive their tournament winning in stablecoins on Solana.
