Remember those Tom Green comedies from the early 2000s? I’m talking about “Freddy Got Fingered” and “Road Trip,” screwball humor from the former MTV sketch-comedy show host. They must have inspired Brandon Daley, whose debut feature, “$POSITIONS,” is an anxiety-driven cryptocurrency comedy starring Michael Kunicki as a blue-collar worker who loses everything in his quest to get crypto-rich. It’s a jittery performance by the Chicago-based artist, who resembles Green as he screams at the top of his lungs, eyes bulging, during a panic attack caused by his idiocy.
