Family of crypto boss held at knifepoint in home invasion

The family of a crypto boss was held at knifepoint by a gang who broke into his home.

Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie, who co-founded the digital currency firm BCB Group, said robbers tied him and his wife up before demanding the keycode to his electronic wallet.

The 47-year-old, who is now head of the Greater Things tech business, said the gang only seemed interested in stealing cryptocurrency and ignored his Aston Martin supercar.

The raiders left when they learned that the businessman did not hold any cryptocurrency personally, making off instead with cash, watches and silver.

He and his family are now recovering from their ordeal at home in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
