With the rise of thematic ETFs hitting the market, three financial advisers have shared their views on trend with arguments they could run counter to long-term investment strategies. 

As the ETF market continues to expand amid rising engagement from advisers, strong investment trends have seen the launch in more targeted solutions in metals, cryptocurrency and private credit. 

A recent example include BlackRock’s announced of plans to launch its first Bitcoin ETF in Australia, with the iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) hitting the ASX on 14 November.
