Lummis Declines 2027 Run, Seeks Passage of Sweeping Crypto Bill
Senator Cynthia Lummis, one of the U.S. Senators with the most ties to the crypto market, announced today that she has decided not to run for reelection in 2027 and that she’ll dedicate the remainder of her term to securing passage of crypto market structure legislation.
According to a report from Eleanor Terrett, Lummis disclosed via a press representative that she intends to make the bill her top priority until the end of her tenure.
