Crypto Market Firms As Ethereum Rallies, Bitcoin Consolidates
The cryptocurrency market strengthened on Dec 12, with Ethereum leading gains while Bitcoin held steady at elevated levels, signalling improving sentiment among investors toward year-end.
Bitcoin consolidated above the US$91,000-mark, trading around US$92,258, up about 2.1% from the previous close. Prices swung between an intraday low of US$89,697 and a high of US$94,522, reflecting active but orderly trading.
Market participants said Bitcoin’s ability to hold key support levels suggested that selling pressure had eased, even as investors remained sensitive to global macroeconomic signals.
