Parties at Sydney’s Crypto Castle, owned by Fred Schebesta, catch attention of angy neighbours and Randwick City Council

Fred Schebesta may have moved his young children into his South Coogee clifftop mansion, which he bought for $16.8 million in 2021, but the Finder founder was never going to be the quiet family-minded neighbour locals no doubt wanted.

The self-described “internet rockstar” quickly renamed the property “Crypto Castle”. He chucked it on Airbnb (where a minimum seven-night stay is currently priced at $61,910) and started an aggressive social media campaign promoting the property for photoshoots and the like.
