Women’s crypto investment habits reveal key to trading success
Women are outspending men for the first time when making their initial bets on cryptocurrency, new analysis shows.
Research from crypto exchange BTC Markets also shows women trade bitcoin far less than men but end up with similar returns.
BTC Markets analyst Rachael Lucas said initial deposits from their female clients exceeded that of men after their initial outlay jumped 115 per cent year-on-year.
“This signals that when women enter the market, they are doing so with confidence and intent,” Ms Lucas said.
“At the same time, male investors remain more active, accounting for 78 per cent of the daily
trades on average, compared with 22 per cent placed by women.”
