Adani Power , Adani Power Stock Split : The share price of Adani Power Ltd surged over 18 per cent on Monday (Sep 22). At BSE, the stock reached its day’s high of Rs 168.90, which is an increase of 19.11 per cent from its previous closing of Rs 141.80.
Recently, Adani Power announced a stock split in the ratio of 1:5. The company had fixed September 22 as the record date for the corporate action.
Notably, this is the first-ever corporate action by the company, as per BSE website.

Each equity share of Rs 10 will be sub-divided into five fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of Rs 2 each, ranking pari passu in all respects.
