Central Asian cryptocurrency mining company Enegix Global is mulling installing a 100MW capacity datacenter in northeast Brazil’s Piauà state.
Company representatives signed an MOU with state authorities and met governor Rafael Fonteles during the Brazil Energy Conference, held this month in Piauà capital Teresina, according to the state government.
However, the first contacts between officials from Piauà and company executives took place at a previous event in Portugal.
One of the possibilities is that the project will be installed in the export processing zone (ZPE) in the coastal city of ParnaÃba.
