Ashok Leyland shares gain 3% as board to consider bonus issue on May 23
Ashok Leyland shares rose 3.4% to their day’s high of Rs 249.65 on the BSE on Tuesday after the company said its board is likely to consider a proposal for issuing bonus shares at its upcoming meeting on Friday, May 23. The commercial vehicle maker will also announce its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025, on the same day.
“At the meeting dated 23rd May 2025, the Board of Directors may consider the proposal for issue of bonus shares, subject to requisite approvals,” the company said in an exchange filing post-market hours on Monday, May 19.
