Bhutan introduces crypto tourism ecosystem
Bhutan plans to become the first country to implement a crypto payment system for tourism on a national level.
It is partnering with Binance to enable fully cashless journeys in the Kingdom
In collaboration with Binance Pay and Bhutan’s fully digital DK Bank, the initiative will offer travellers using Binance Pay a secure and flexible end-to-end payment experience.
More than 100 merchants are already live with DK Bank and Binance Pay.
This model allows Binance Pay users to pay for nearly every part of their Bhutan journey using supported cryptocurrencies.
