Ravi Dharamshi, CIO, ValueQuest Investment, says the government is working to revive the real estate market, especially for lower-income groups. They are also trying to encourage private sector investment, as there is still a lot of opportunity for them to borrow. The economy is being run only on one leg and efforts are on to broad-base this. While the timing is good for private sector investment to grow, the current signs are just the beginning, and we need to see more progress to be sure that this investment trend will keep going and that the private sector will take the lead.
