‘Wolves on Road’ review – A creative but casual crypto play – Liam O’Dell
Yes, this is a play about Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain, but the apprehension and bewildwerment these words will evoke in many – myself included – are just two sentiments explored in House of Ife playwright Beru Tessema’s predictable but nonetheless bleakly relevant warning about the dangerous, all-consuming nature of crypto.
It follows a 20-something named Emmanuel (For Black Boys’ Kieran Taylor-Ford), in a difficult spot after being called out for flogging fake designer bags, being encouraged by his mate Abdul (Hassan Najib) to give crypto a go.
