Elcid Investments, which caught everyone by surprise on Tuesday as its shares jumped a whopping 66,92,535% from just Rs 3.53 to Rs 2,36,250, has been magnanimous in rewarding its shareholders with high dividends.
In FY24, the company gave a dividend of Rs 25 in FY24, which translates into an industry best dividend yield of over 708%. Dividend yield is calculated by dividing annual dividend per share with the share price.
For FY23 as well, the dividend stood at Rs 25 while remaining at Rs 15 per share in the previous three financial years. The dividend yield for FY20-FY22 stood at 425%.
