Shriram Finance Share Price: Shriram Finance shares 5.02% as Sensex rises
Shares of Shriram Finance Ltd. traded 5.02 per cent at Rs 3246.65 at 10:12AM (IST) on Monday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex 398.89 points to 79801.18.
The scrip had closed at Rs 3091.40 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 3652.15 and 52-week low of Rs 1760.90, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:12AM (IST) stood at 47899 shares with a turnover of Rs 15.56 crore.
At the current price, the stock traded at 15.15 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 213.79 per share and 1.81 times its price-to-book value, exchange data showed.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future.
