Crypto trader and social media wannabe Andre Rebelo took out three life insurance policies against his mother — and then murdered her just days later — to pay for his “plastic existence” portrayed online.
That is the shocking allegation which prosecutors say they plan to prove during a two-month trial which began before a jury at WA’s Supreme Court on Thursday.
