Whoops! Taxiing plane takes out lamppost at US airport – Stuff.co.nz

A pilot in the US has had a rather large whoops moment after taking out a lamppost at Dallas Fort Worth Airport.
CCTV shows the American Airlines 737-800, which was bound for Nassau in the Caribbean, taking a left turn as it taxis to the runway. However, it gets too close to a pole. The wing smashes into it, knocking it over.
In images posted online afterwards, the wing appeared badly damaged in the collision.
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident.
