These maps show just how quickly Covid-19 has spread around North Staffordshire once again.
In early December, Stoke-on-Trent had seen its infection rate come down to 298 cases per 100,000 after previously being the fourth worst in England.
Meanwhile, Staffordshire’s Covid-19 case rate stood at 201.
But things have been moving in the wrong direction, with a highly infectious new variant arriving in the south of the county before spreading north.
