Mr. Thulin has been Executive Chairman of 3M Company, a diversified global manufacturer, technology innovator, and marketer of a variety of products and services, since July 2018. Effective June 1, 2019, he will be retiring as Executive Chairman. He served as 3M’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer from 2012 until June 2018. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of 3M from 2011 until 2012, with responsibility for all of 3M’s business segments and international operations. From 2004 until 2011, Mr. Thulin was 3M’s Executive Vice President of International Operations.
